Kick Start Your Day Worship: Carrollton, “Let Love Win”

Today I am sharing a song called “Let Love Win” by Carrollton. The kiddos and I happened to see these guys in concert this past winter when they opened for Jason Gray. They have a remarkable heart for God. We were able to meet them and share for a few minutes. They were a blessing and their music uplifting and encouraging. They just released a new album called Sunlight and Shadows. For more info on Carrollton, please click here.

Matthew 25: 34-40

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.  For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,  I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Luke 6: 27-36

“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,  bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.  If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them.  Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.  Do to others as you would have them do to you.

If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.  And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full.  But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.  Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.”

1 Peter 4: 8-9

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.  Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.”

John 15:13

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

I pray you remember He always has your back.
